It is now 2020, and I’m able to officially claim I’ve played Pokemon shield. Arguably, I got shield because of Galarian ponyta and tyranitar. It was a hard decision, considering how at first, I preferred Zacian over Zamazenta (now I actually like zamazenta without its rusted shield). The game was pretty decent however, I’d have liked it more if pseudo legendaries like garchomp and dragonite were included in the main game. Fortunately, it appears they will be added through the DLC content (specifically Crown Tundra) coming later in the Fall.

There’s so much to talk about when it comes to the Pokemon franchise. Personally I can admit that I haven’t played the older games but my childhood consisted on watching the anime. Since March of 2018, I rediscovered my fascination for Pokemon by playing Pokemon Go. With Pokemon Go getting updated frequently and adding different special events, there’s never really a chance to feel bored with the mobile game. Having already played Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and considering it VERY easy (although that somewhat was the purpose of the game), I’m looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield. 🙂
